Backdrops don't need a huge amount of room, but it helps to think about what's going in front of them. For a photo spot, you'll want enough clear floor for guests to stand comfortably and for whoever is taking the picture to step back a little. For a top table, stage or cake table, the backdrop sits behind, so it's mainly a case of leaving the area in front tidy and uncluttered.

If you're adding a neon sign, light-up letters or flowers, bear in mind these become part of the setup too, so it's worth picturing the whole look in place. The same goes for pairing a backdrop with one of our selfie pods, which works really well but does mean planning for both.
