Short answerHaze looks best with moving or coloured lights. Our DJs and lighting packages bring the beams to show it off.
More about smoke & haze
Short answer: it helps a lot, especially with haze. Haze on its own is just a faint mist in the air. What makes it worth hiring is that it catches the light, so every beam from a moving head or coloured light becomes visible. Without lights to show off, you'd hardly notice it. With them, a dancefloor starts to feel like a proper party.
Smoke and low fog are a bit different. Smoke gives you bursts of atmosphere, and low fog rolls a cloud effect across the floor, so both can work on their own for something like a first dance or an entrance. They still look better with some lighting around them, and our DJs and lighting packages pair with all three.
If you're not sure which to go for, think haze for lighting, smoke for drama and low fog for a floor effect. Tell us about your event and we'll suggest the right one. Prices start from £35 including VAT, and we deliver, set up and collect.
